Heteropic Rat Heart Transplasntation and Enzymatic Activities

Abstract
For both groups of heart transplant rats (Lewis-Lewis, BN-Lewis), ECG tracings correlated best with rejection sequences revealed later by serial histological examinations. Specifically, an ST elevation was the most consistent finding in the rejecting allografts, and is therefore considered by us to be a fairly specific manifestation. The changes of HBD and CPK which we chose in this did not seem to be a reliable guide to rejection and they did not differ significantly in the iso- and the homo-transplants.
